Mesothelioma is a rare form of the cancer, truly speaking very uncommon. As it is very rare so that treatment for this is very limited. People gets confused who are the one to whom they should consult. Also as there are different procedures to cure Mesothelioma, one can consult to different physicians.

After the victim get to know that he/she is suffered fro the disease after have been diagnosed, he/she may consult to

Oncologist : One who treat cancer. For diagnosis, physician may perform MRI, CT scan, Biopsies. For treatment different procedures such as chemotherapy, surgery can be given. A physician my deals with palliative care(symptoms reduction rather than curing the disease) and pain relief. According to the treatment, Oncologists may be divided as
Radiation oncology(treatment with radiation),  Surgical oncology( tumor removal with the help of surgery), Medical oncology(chemotherapy treatment specially from drugs), Gynecologic oncology(cancer of female reproductive system is focused)

As breathing difficulty is one of symptoms of Mesothelioma, so the people who suffers from this symptom should consult pulmonary therapist. A pulmonary therapist basically studies respiratory system and offers some basic exercise for the lungs.

Radiation therapy specialist are called radiation oncologist who take care how much radiations you required for the treatment. They may also be very useful at the time you are feeling any side effects after taking the radiation therapy.

Pathologist : A pathologist studies tissues and bodily fluids to study the cancer cells containing at the time of Mesothelioma.

Radiologist : One who is specialist of radiology. Basically chest radiologist is concerned in the case of Mesothelioma. although different Radiologist like computed tomography radiologists, magnetic resonance imaging radiologist or other may be concerned depend on the treatment which the victim is taking.

Although there is no particular cure for Mesothelioma, so it totally depends on the time when you are taking the treatment. I f it is the advanced stage then it is very difficult to get the cure.
