Pericardial Mesothelioma is rarest among the other types of Mesothelioma but very deadly,  caused many deaths already. There are nearly 5-10% cases of Pericardial Mesothelioma in whole Mesothelioma cases. It grows on the cells covering heart. These cells plays an important role in protecting the Heart from several outer conditions. Also the cause of this disease is same as of other and i.e Asbestos. The persons having the age of 50-70 are most affected by this disease as this is grown very slowly. So the symptoms are likely to shown at the terminating stage of the disease.

Some of the symptoms of Pericardial Mesothelioma are

Irregularity in Heart Beat : Pericardium cells perform the functioning of maintaining the proper heart beat of the person bu as the tumor increases person get affected by irregular heart beat.

Irregular Breathing : When there is a overflow of blood, Pericardium cells prevent heart from over expansion which provide smooth breathing but it cause difficulty as cells are affected.

Chest pain : The reason for the chest pain is same as of Pleural Mesothelioma and that is pressure.

Pericardial Mesothelioma has very limited treatment because of its rareness(Not much researcher). Also if the treatment is done in early stages then only it can be cure properly otherwise it is very difficult to cure Pericardial Mesothelioma.
