Mesothelioma is an aggressive cancer which is relatively rare than other kind of cancer.There are mesothelium/mesothelial cells in our body which are made up of two layers. One layer surround our internal organs while the second layer surround the first one as a sac or a packet. When these mesothelium cells grows in very rapid or uncontrolled manner then Mesothelioma occurs.Between these two layers a lubricating fluid flows which make the organs move easily. When these cells grows, they tend to invade on other parts pf the body. This unwanted spread is called metastasis. High Mesothelium cells creates more fluid that make Mesothelium more thick and tumorous that creates problem to the movement of the organs. Mesothelium cells are found in the organs like heart, lungs, abdominal and testes.

Mesothelioma is mainly caused due to asbestos. The people who come in contact with asbestos on daily basis are affected by this cancer. According to a study, nearly two to three thousand people are affected by this disease every year in US only. Aging is also a factor which cause Mesothelioma. The small particles of asbestos create more danger than the big particle. Although today on the one side many countries are banning the use of asbestos in their country, on the other hand some countries have increased their production like India.
